Some answers: I do have Norton Internet Security, but disabled this to see if it was the cause of the problem. It was not. Then: I connect to the internet via LAN and "Mobile network modem" (no landline phone available where I am). I am not a power user but I do like Edge so hope to get it back up and running. Any Ideas ? Firefox and Internet Explorer work fine. Opera and Chrome cannot establish an internet connection. It seems that the opera process (opera.exe) is completely blocked by the network. It says it cant connect to the internet in the current installation, and a new installation says the same. The browser itself can connect to other websites just fine though I already tried disabling a VPN, without luck. Also starting it as administrator did not work.
