NAT type strict - Internet - Internet Forum - Cox Support I tried that and the NAT type was still strict, although I've heard that what the xbox displays isn't always updated. We got it last Christmas and I believe it worked with our previous router which was an old Cisco router. It's an Xbox One. It's WiFi through the router, then modem, then Cox. 99% of the world works just fine with standard "strict NAT." But, UbiSoft (Uplay) and this game, Uno, can't. Just for posterity, I'll put some of the stuff I found that is supposed to work, but didn't for me (I'm using pfSense, but maybe some of this can be adapted by others). First, here's what I think is happening with strict NAT:
